In the second quarter of 2025, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on the Android platform in Mexico demonstrated notable trends in downloads and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into these apps' performances.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides maintained a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 151K in late May. However, its weekly active users fluctuated, reaching a high of approximately 12.4M in early June before dipping to 11.6M by the end of the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride saw a steady rise in weekly downloads, culminating at 121K in the week of June 9. Its active user base also climbed, starting at 5.3M in early April and closing the quarter at about 5.3M, with some fluctuations throughout.

DiDi Driver: Drive & Earn Cash experienced an upward trend in downloads, reaching a peak of 93K in mid-June. The app's active user numbers showed a significant increase, starting at 1M at the beginning of the quarter and ending at 1.2M.

inDrive. Rides with fair fares displayed growth in downloads, peaking at 86K in early June. Its active user count rose from 2.2M at the start of the quarter to 2.3M by the end.

Finally, Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver showed a varied download rate, with a high of 81K in mid-May. The app's active users increased from 997K at the quarter's start to 1.4M by the end.
